Look like a dancer, feel like a dancer, act like a dancer.
The dress code is in place for three reasons:
- Dance Instructors need to be able to see what dancers’ bodies and muscles are doing in order to make corrections;
- When a child gets into an outfit that is used for dance class (and not the playground or just anywhere) they get their brains ready to dance; and
- Adherence to dress codes demonstrates a respect to the dance studio, dance teacher, and fellow dancers
* Dress code will be strictly enforced this year. Students will NOT be allowed to participate in class if they are not properly dressed.
Dress Code
- Hair must be neatly off the face and neck.
- Must wear dance shorts or dance skorts with a fitted tank top (active wear) or bodysuit.

- Dancers must wear proper dance shoes – either Highland Ghillies, ballet slippers, or gymnastics slippers.
- There are to be no bare midriffs, halter-tops, or playground clothing (t-shirts/ loose shorts).
- Please no ballet skirts.
